PUBLIC NOTICE
 
The Council of the City of Moody will hold a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. on July 22, 2002 to consider the following ordinance M02-07-22 which would rezone approximately 7.8 acres of property owned by Mr. Aaron C. Morris; located at 1190 Kerr Road identified as St. Clair County Tax ID # 59-24-09-32-0-000-004.000 from AG-1 (Agricultural District) to R-1 (Single Family Residential).

ORDINANCE NO. M02-07-22
 
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF MOODY, ALABAMA AS FIRST ADOPTED MARCH 28, 1996 AND ANY SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS THERETO:
 
WHEREAS, On _____________ a public hearing was held before the City Council of the City of Moody, Alabama to consider the rezoning of the following described real estate from AG-1 Agricultural District to R-1- Single Family Residential District,
 
  • Approximately 7.8 acres located at 1190 Kerr Road and particularly described as St. Clair County Tax ID # 59-24-09-32-0-000-004.000, Commence at the Southwest Corner of the NE 1/4  of the NW 1/4 of Section 32 Township 16 South Range 2 East: Thence northerly, and along the west line of same for a distance of 248.71 feet to the point of beginning of the property described herein; thence continue along the last named course for a distance of 417.12 feet: thence turn an angle of 90 deg. 21' to the right in an easterly direction for a distance of 896.56 feet thence turn an angle of 108 deg 37' to the right in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 200.00feet thence turn an angle of 0 deg 18' to the right and continue in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 269.61 feet: thence turn an angle of 73 deg 13' to the right in a westerly direction for a distance of 743.06 feet: to the point of beginning.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOODY, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS:

 

  • SECTION - 1: That the property described hereinabove is hereby rezoned from AG-1 Agricultural District to R-1 Single Family Residential District.

 

  • SECTION - 2:  That the Zoning Map of the City of Moody, Alabama is hereby amended to reflect and include the zoning of said real estate as R-1 Single Family Residential District.

 

  • SECTION - 3:  That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

 

  • SECTION - 4:  That this ordinance shall become effective upon passage, approval and publication as required by law.
